Formerly a massage therapist, Watsu practitioner, and environmental activist, a car accident at the age of 45, with its long road to recovery, forced me to recreate myself and my life.

With a keen interest in wanting to establish meaningful work for myself and given from my Heart, at the age of 54, I became certified as a Funeral Celebrant, End of Life Mentor and eventually wrote the books, Planning for a Good Death – User’s Guide and Workbook (2017).

My mother died in Nova Scotia without a legal Will, and it took seven years to resolve this, through the Court. Her death inspired me on this path, after learning 56% of Canadians die without a Will, and 30% are out of date.

My goal is to help people to feel more comfortable with their eventual death and help them overcome the blocks to getting their affairs in order. When plans are clear, those who love us feel relieved from having to make tough decisions or having to hire expensive lawyers to sort things out after we are gone.

Life comes with no guarantee for how long we get to experience it. I help people live life to the fullest and explore options for how they want their life celebrated – which is as unique as they are and worthy of the experience of planning for it!
